Trade Publications
Reporters from industry trade publications must provide a business card with an editorial title and a current masthead that includes their name and a sample of a bylined article published within the past six months.
Business Publications/News Wire Services
Reporters from magazines, newspapers and wire services must provide a business card with an editorial title and a current masthead that includes their name and a sample of a bylined article published within the past six months.
Association Publications/Newsletters
Reporters from internationally recognized magazines, newspapers or newsletters produced by IT industry associations must provide a business card with editorial title and a sample of a bylined article published within the past six months, or a current masthead that includes their name and editorial title.
TV/Radio
Broadcast reporters and producers from news organizations must provide a business card and proof of assignment. Camera/sound crews must provide broadcast station ID and proof of assignment.
Market Research Staff and Analysts
Writers from internationally recognized market research or financial institutions, who consistently write for regularly published newsletters and/or reports, must provide both a business card with an editorial title and a sample of a industry related report published within the past six months.
Freelance Writers and Authors
Persons requesting freelance credentials must provide an original letter of assignment and a bylined article published within the past six months. Those who freelance occasionally and are employed by non-news organizations are not eligible for media credentials. Authors must be under contract and provide an original letter from their publisher, or they will not receive media/analyst credentials.
Online Publications/Online News Services
Reporters from online publications and news services must provide a business card with editorial title plus a copy of a bylined article printed from their Web site, or an Internet address so that we may view such articles. Site must contain editorial content and must cover the industry relevant to the event. Personal Web pages are not acceptable.
